Thesis Students Meeting (ET2014)

The meeting brings together each year graduate for master’s and doctoral students in computer science and related areas Chilean universities. The idea of the meeting is to show the research of computational gap in Chile made by students in the area, while graduate students receive feedback from other students, researchers and professors from other universities about their thesis. IV Meeting of Women in Computing (WSCCC’2014)

The purpose of the “Meeting of Women in Computing” is to promote collaboration between women and enhance their expertise in the field of Computer Science in Chile. To do this, we invite interested parties to propose non-technical, as sections of roundtable panels on topics that may be of interest to the target audience (eg, counseling, work life balance, opportunities for graduate school) . I University-Industry Meeting

It is a space for students, teachers and professionals  to  identify opportunities for collaboration between University and Industry.  Also allow students to know and understand the work, technologies and demands of the professional environment.

The University-Industry Workshop I will be a meeting place for students, teachers and professionals to meet and discuss opportunities, strategies and channels of university-company collaboration; soft and professional skills professional environment; and opportunities and cases of enterprises in Chile. In addition, a panel of experts will be held to discuss a topic of interest to the Workshop. The University-Industry Workshop I is open to all topics and issues related to University-Industry. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Requirements soft skills and professional environment.

Entrepreneurship.

Class introducing for strengthening soft and professional skills.

It invites the university and business community to submit abstracts on one page.

Our Best of the 2014

This year the fifth edition of “The Best of the Our”, which will be held during the Chilean Computing Week took place. The objective of this event is to bring a little edge research taking place in our institutions and by our researchers, the conference, for dissemination and motivation. Preliminary Call for Papers.
